It’s all coming together – the first Looe Festival of Words, 1 – 6 October. Not a Lit Fest! Definitely not a Lit Fest! Which may sound pedantic, but as we’ve worked through the programming process, I’ve become more and more convinced that this is the right thing for me to be involved with. For the community, by the community. Open to everyone, writers, wannabe writers, readers of anything and everything. All free. No celebrity authors. Except…except, is that what people actually want? We’ll see. Last minute doubts! But I’m incredibly proud of this project, and what I have delivered for it. Very excited to get started with our first events!
